After one year of HIMPASKOM 2.0 management period 2023, it’s time for regeneration to continue the management relay to HIMPASKOM 3.0 period 2024. Dede Kurniyawan as Chairperson of HIMPASKOM UI 2.0 said that HIMPASKOM management must be continued because HIMPASKOM is a unifying organization for all (active) students enrolled in the Master Program (S2) and Doctoral Program (S3) Postgraduate Communication Sciences Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. HIMPASKOM UI as the only graduate student association in FISIP UI is seen as a reliable organization.
The search for the Chairman of HIMPASKOM 3.0 is the last work program carried out by HIMPASKOM 2.0. After going through a long process, finally the Chairperson of HIMPASKOM 3.0 was elected, namely Muhammad Fauzi Fitri Andika from the Master of Communication Science Program class of 2023. In the process, Muhammad Fauzi Fitri Andika or who is familiarly called Ozi, has gone through the stages of collecting administrative files and passed the fit and proper test along with the core daily management body and the head of the HIMPASKOM 2.0 division. The inauguration of the General Chairperson of HIMPASKOM 3.0 was held on Monday, January 15, 2024, attended by the General Chairperson and the HIMPASKOM 2.0 management and prospective core management at HIMPASKOM 3.0.
Ozi brought a new color to HIMPASKOM 3.0 entitled #ElaborationInnovation. According to him, HIMPASKOM 3.0 functions as a forum for conveying information wrapped in academic and non-academic activities, and becomes a bridge of communication between students and the academic community at the UI Department of Communication Sciences. In addition, HIMPASKOM 3.0 also provides a new innovative spirit in academic and non-academic activities for all active students.
The vision carried by HIMPASKOM 3.0 is to realize HIMPASKOM UI as a forum for collaborating innovative, inclusive, and collaborative ideas for UI Communication Science Postgraduate Program Students, both in academic and non-academic activities. Meanwhile, the mission that will be carried out by HIMPASKOM 3.0 includes: (1) Organizing activities that can strengthen the relationship, both among fellow Ul Communication Master Program Students and Undergraduate and Doctoral Program Students and the Academic Community of the Ul Communication Science Department; (2) Become a forum for students to express and actualize themselves through various meaningful activities; (3) Become a bridge of communication between Postgraduate Program Students and the Academic Community in the Ul Communication Science Department, and (4) Organizing academic and non-academic activities in the field of communication as a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
