The new academic year 2023/2024 begins soon, new students of Postgraduate Communication Science FISIP UI received a lively welcome through the Welcoming Freshmen 2023 Pre-Action organized by the UI 2023 Postgraduate Communication Science Student Association (HIMPASKOM). The event will be held virtually on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 16.00-17.00 WIB. The Welcoming Freshmen 2023 pre-event was held as a prelude to the main event welcoming new students on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Salemba Campus.

The 2023 Welcoming Freshmen Pre-event was enthusiastically attended by more than 50 new students. The initial remarks were opened by the Chairman of HIMPASKOM UI 2023, Dede Kurniyawan. Then followed by remarks by the Head of the Communication Science Postgraduate Study Program as well as the Supervisor of HIMPASKOM UI 2023, Dr. Eriyanto, S.I.P., M.Si. with welcome and congratulations on joining the big family of Postgraduate Communication Science FISIP UI.

Starting with introductory games conducted using the Zoom breakout room, new students were invited to be actively involved and get to know each other better. Furthermore, HIMPASKOM UI 2023 presented an introduction to the organization in the Postgraduate Communication Science FISIP UI environment, namely HIMPASKOM UI. Information about the main event Welcoming Freshmen 2023 was also presented as the centerpiece of this Pre-Show. The Welcoming Freshmen 2023 pre-event was closed with a question and answer session and a virtual group photo.
