Doctoral Program in Communication Graduation

The Doctoral Program in Communication is a lecture and research program. The Program study load in Communication sciences at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) is 43 credits. The curriculum uses lectures (by course) and research. Study load (43 credits), consisting of compulsory and elective courses.

The study period of the Doctoral Program in Communication is scheduled for 6 terms. It can be taken at least 4 terms, and a maximum of 10 terms. This study period does not include the student’s right to take a maximum of 2 terms of academic leave. Students can get an extension of the study period of a maximum of 2 terms, if:

  • The study period has never been extended
  • Obtain a minimum grade of B for research results
  • There is a recommendation of the promoter and there is a guarantee of graduation of the study period
