Entering the last year of study, UI Communication Science Postgraduate students class of 2022 are enthusiastically preparing scientific publications as one of the graduation requirements. Thorough preparation related to topic selection, drafting strategy, and determination of platform scientific journals are the main tips for students in taking a step towards graduation.
This topic was the main discussion in the online session “COMMTALK 2023 A-Z Final Assignment: Publication Series” initiated by the Communication Science Graduate Student Association (HIMPASKOM) UI 2023. This session is a forum for exchanging ideas as well as a form of alumni affection for students who are currently struggling to get a degree from the UI Postgraduate Communication Science.
Participated by more than 25 participants, COMMTALK Publication Series thoroughly explores the tips and tricks of quantitative and qualitative scientific publications. Moderated by Dede Kurniawan, Chairperson of HIMPASKOM UI 2023, the session sharing This event invited Tigor Simanjuntak and Irawati Diah Astuti as Alumni of Postgraduate Communication Science UI Class of 2021. Alumni shared their successful experiences in completing scientific publications. At the end of the event, Irawati gave a closing sentence, “scientific publications are only 2 credits, but keep in mind that scientific publications are a reflection of the author’s credibility.”
COMMTALK Publication Series is a session of sharing session which was held on Friday (07/14/2023). This activity will continue on the next Tuesday (07/18/2023) with Thesis as the focus of discussion. (GLS)
