HIMPASKOM 3.0: Management 2024/2025 “Elaboration of Innovation”

SALEMBA, 2024 – Being a pioneer of student association organizations at the Postgraduate level, HIMPASKOM (Communication Science Postgraduate Student Association) FISIP UI successfully continued the baton of its third management. Through the spirit of #ElaborationInnovation, HIMPASKOM 3.0 organizes its function as a forum for conveying information wrapped in academic and non-academic activities, and becomes a bridge of communication between students and the academic community in the Department of Communication Science UI. With this spirit, HIMPASKOM strives to provide a new innovative spirit in the academic and non-academic activities of the Postgraduate Program Students of the Department of Communication Sciences UI.

Chaired by Muhammad Fauzi Fitri Andika and his deputy Hetty Mery Marbun, HIMPASKOM 3.0 has five divisions including: Community Service Division, Academic Division, Public Relations Division, Social Media & Creative Content Division, and Internal Division. These five divisions also work together with the Treasurer and Secretary in fulfilling their vision and mission. The following is the Vision and Mission of HIMPASKOM for the 2023/2024 period:

Vision:

Realizing HIMPASKOM UI as a forum for collaborating innovative, inclusive, and collaborative ideas for Postgraduate Program Students of the Department of Communication Science UI, both in academic and non-academic activities.

Mission:

  1. Organizing activities that can strengthen the relationship, both among fellow UI Master of Communication Program Students as well as Undergraduate and Doctoral Program Students and the Academic Community of the UI Department of Communication Sciences.
  2. Become a place for students to express and actualize themselves through various meaningful activities.
  3. Become a bridge of communication between Postgraduate Program Students and the Academic Community at the UI Department of Communication Science.
  4. Organizing academic and non-academic activities in the field of communication as a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

With the inauguration of the new HIMPASKOM 3.0 management, and in realizing the spirit of #ElaborationInnovation, here is the 2024/2025 work program design:

  1. Welcoming the Class of 2024: Activities to welcome the New Student Class of 2024.
  2. Heart room: An activity to provide an alternative space for UI Graduate Communication Students to pour out all their thoughts and worries.
  3. HIMPASKOM writes: Activities to facilitate the publication of writings in the form of opinions or reflections related to communication issues.
  4. Commtalk 2024: Thematic talk show activities to support the academics of UI Communication Science Graduate Students.
  5. HIMPASKOM Big Plate: Activities for a forum for togetherness with partners, partners, and external parties who have and will work with HIMPASKOM.
  6. Cross Force Meeting: Sharing and evaluation activities with the previous HIMPASKOM management.
  7. HIMPASKOM Berbagi 2024: Sharing activities carried out during the month of Ramadan.
  8. HIMPASKOM Goes to Society: An activity to provide education to the community, especially children.
  9. HIMPASKOM Berbuka: An activity to establish a relationship between UI Postgraduate Communication Science students.
  10. Communication Festival 2024: HIMPASKOM’s annual series of academic and entertainment activities.
  11. Great Deliberation 2024: Activities to evaluate the HIMPASKOM work program for the 2024/2025 period.
  12. General Election of HIMPASKOM Chairperson 2025/2026: Activities to elect the HIMPASKOM Chairperson democratically involving all UI Communication Science Postgraduate Students.

Good luck, HIMPASKOM 3.0! Hopefully HIMPASKOM UI can again become a forum for the elaboration of innovative, inclusive, and collaborative ideas not only to the University of Indonesia environment, but also to the local community and society at large. (GLS)
